FAA funded Mosaic ATM research ranks DroneBeacon RemoteID transmitters in top 3 of best performing devices

External research has shown that our DroneBeacon products are one of the best performing RemoteID add-on modules in the market.

In 2024, a research has been conducted by Mosaic ATM, the Virginia Tech Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (VT MAAP), and the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina (WRC) to demonstrate and validate a prototype Detect and Avoid (DAA) system for small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS) using Remote Identification (RID). It was funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

In this 12-month research, several drones with integrated RemoteID functionality and add-on devices have been evaluated. Our DroneBeacon db120 was ranked in the top-3 both for both the Bluetooth and WiFi functionality!
