Remote ID db201 module launched
Remote Identification or Remote ID for short is a wireless license plate to identify drones and is mandatory in Japan, the USA and soon in the EU. Today, we have launched the db201 Remote ID module for autopilot systems, such as ArduPilot.
The db201 module has the same specifications as the db200, but only the ESP-C3 module is different. The reason is that the ESP module of the db200 module has become suddenly EoL (End of Life).
The db201 module is powered by the open source ArduRemoteID firmware and has a certified FCC/CE radio module. In addition, the module has two DroneCAN ports and an UART (TELEM) port to connect to a autopilot system using JST-GH connectors. It is small, only 38 by 32 mm, and weighs just 4 grams.
