New firmware for DroneScout Bridge to support Wi-Fi NaN RemoteID signals
BlueMark extends the functionality of DroneScout Bridge by a new firmware that supports reception of RemoteID/DRI signals using Wi-Fi Aware (Wi-Fi NaN).
Wi-Fi Aware is a transmission method that is only allowed outside the USA and less than 5% of devices use Wi-Fi NaN technology. With the latest firmware, DroneScout Bridge devices support reception of all possible transmission methods (Bluetooth legacy, Bluetooth Long Range, Wi-Fi Beacon and Wi-Fi Aware (NaN)) in the 2.4 GHz.
Existing DroneScout bridge can be upgraded by downloading firmware version 20250908-1356 at our Downloads page or can be downloaded directly here. Upload it in the configuration page to flash the new firmware.
DroneScout Bridge is a small and low-cost RemoteID receiver that will solves the drone detection problem by a smartphone app. It will receive RemoteID signals and converts them to a wireless signal that your smartphone understands. A wireless relay!
More information about Bridge can be found on this page. The Bridge device can be used together with our DroneScout pro app for Android, iOS and iPad.
