Remote ID db200 module launched
Remote Identification or Remote ID for short is a wireless license plate to identify drones and is mandatory in Japan, the USA and soon in the EU. Today, we have launched the second generation Remote ID module for autopilot systems, such as ArduPilot.
The db200 module is powered by the open source ArduRemoteID firmware and has a certified FCC/CE radio module. In addition, the module has two DroneCAN ports and an UART (TELEM) port to connect to a autopilot system using JST-GH connectors. It is small, only 38 by 32 mm, and weighs just 4 grams.
