There are several types of Wi-Fi sensor:

  • BlueMark 1000 series; a sensor for outdoor application with a directional antenna: 12 dBi (60 degrees horizontal, 30 degrees vertical). Range up to 125 meters in open space.

    • adding a USB Bluetooth dongle and install our firmware add-on. All sensors and BlueMark zero support this add-on.
    • Bluetooth detection can run parallel with WiFi detection or stand-alone.
  • BLE/iBeacon tags; our sensors can detect the BLE/iBeacon tags
    • useful for asset tracking or applications where users don’t have smartphones

Business Intelligence platform

The BlueMark Business Intelligence (BI) platform is a tool to analyse visitor behaviour. You can compare it with Google Analytics for websites. It gives you the following answers:bluemark-dashboard

  • How many visitors were at my site (hourly, daily, weekly overview)?
  • How many unique visitors were at my site (hourly, daily, weekly overview)?
  • How long did these visitors stay?
  • What is the most busiest entrance and exit?
  • What are the traffic patterns of my site?
  • etc.

Of course this platform comes with an admin portal where you can configure sensors, projects and users. And there is a third component which converts the raw sensor data to useful metrics.
